Tracey Cooper
Tracey Cooper is a caring sister, a loving daughter, a wonderful friend, and a community advocate. At a very early age, her parents instilled in her a sense of civic duty, at a very tender age her parents engaged her in activities with Jack and Jill of America, Inc. where she obtained a sense of community involvement by participating in volunteer activities at mental health facilities, nursing homes, and soup kitchens. As an adult, those activities led her to join Helping Hand of Prince George’s County, MD., where the mission was to help coordinate fundraisers for such initiatives as donating supplies to area schools, turkey dinners for the holidays to families in need, and volunteering at a food bank. Ms. Cooper believes in and champions health and nutrition equity and access for all people, most assuredly for people of color. In her role as Project Administrator/Manager for the Nanaida Foundation she, along with the other outstanding and generous members will be able to reach many of the Ghanaian communities in need, and as the Foundation grows, we are faithful that we will be able to enrich and be enriched by others as well. Ms. Cooper loves to learn about other cultures through their culinary history.
